NORWAY
Former Ghana Golden Shoe Award winner Mahatma Otoo scored in the 16th minute and played 88 minutes for Sogndal who shocked themselves with a 3-0 away victory over Haugesund.
Ernest Asante last 64 minutes for IK Start who suffered their first defeat of the season after losing 2-0 to visiting Viking on Sunday evening.
2007 Ghana U17 World Cup midfielder Enoch Adu Kofi played full throttle for Stabæk who recorded their second straight win in the league after beating Bodø / Glimt 2-1.
Stromsgodset remain in firm control at the summit of the Eliteserien table after beating Odd Grenland 2-1 in Drammen. Ghana goalkeeper Adam Kwarasey manned the post for the champions while midfielder Mohammed Abu also played the entire 90 minutes for Stromsgodset. Nana Boateng missed the game with injury.

Saint-Etienne stunned Evian TG by beating them 2-1 at the Parc des Sports. Black Stars defender Jonathan Mensah played at right-back for Evian.
Striker Abdul Majeed Waris made an injury return to play for Valenciennes but he could not score as Guingamp defeated them 1-0 on Saturday.
Stade Rennes have sunk to 15th place on the log after failing to beat Lorient at the Route de la Lorient on Saturday. Ghana international defender John Boye played in central defence for Rennes.
Striker Jordan Ayew played 89 minutes for Sochaux who resisted Paris Saint-Germain by holding them to a 1-1 draw at the Stade Auguste-Bonal.
In the Ligue 2, Kwame Nsor was in joy as his Metz side security promotion to the Ligue 1 after thrashing Auxerre 3-0 on Saturday. The former Ghana U17 and U20 was nursing injury and did not play the match for Metz.
Former Ghana youth midfielder Charles Boateng was in action for Avranches who posted a 3-0 victory over Cherbourg on Saturday.
Kevin Osei played part of Olympique Marseille II’s 1-1 draw at Agde on Sunday afternoon.
In the Ligue de Nationale, Brian Amofa was not in the Strasbourg team that defeated Bourg-Péronnas 2-1 on Saturday.
SWEDEN
Ghana forward David Accam scored a brace for Helsingborg IF and helped to end their losing run by winning 3-1 against bottom-placed Mjällby. He was replaced in the 89th minute while former Heart of Lions midfielder Kwame Bonsu was substituted in the 81st minute by Mjällby. Ema Boateng missed the game due to injury.
Godsway Donyoh could not make the Falkenberg team when IFK Goteborg defeated them 1-0 on Saturday.
Orebro resisted a stubborn Åtvidaberg to beat them 3-2 on Saturday. Ghana defender Sam Mensah was on the Orebro bench but Mohammed Abubakari missed the game.
BK Hacken and AIK Solna shared the spoils in a 2-2 draw at the Nya Gamla Ullevi. Nasiru Mohammed and Ebenezer Ofori started the game for Hacken and AIK respectively but were both replaced before the end.
Robin Quaison also played for AIK but Edward Owusu and Ibrahim Moro were not in the AIK team for the game.

Elvis Manu suffered an injury in the 33rd minute and could not play again for Cambuur who got thrashed 5-1 at Feyenoord in the Eredivisie on Sunday.
Dutch-born defender Mitch Apau played 70 minutes for RKC Waalwijk who held NAC Breda to a 1-1 draw at the Rat Verlegh Stadion. Jeffrey Sarpong sat on the Breda bench.
Fred Benson played the last 20 minutes of the game for PEC Zwolle who lost 2-1 against PSV Eindhoven.
Heracles Almelo managed to hold Ajax Amsterdam to a 1-1 draw on Sunday afternoon. Ghanaian midfielder Kwame Quansah played full throttle for Heracles while Matthew Amoah and Edwin Gyasi both sat on the bench.
Vitesse Arnhem were held to a 2-2 draw at home by Go Ahead Eagles on Sunday afternoon. Ghana winger Christian Atsu set up the second goal for Vitesse.

AS Roma applied the brakes on AC Milan after beating them 2-0 at the Stadio Olimpico on Friday night. Ghana star midfielder Michael Essien returned from injury to play in the game for Milan. He replaced Sulley Muntari in the 58th minute of the game.
Hellas Verona moved to 8th place on the log after brushing aside Catania 2-0 at the Stadio Marc’Antonio Bentegodi. Ghanaian youth international Godfred Donsah sat on the Verona bench as did Kingsley Boateng on the Catania bench.
Alfred Duncan was in full time action for relegation-trapped Livorno who lost 2-0 at home to Lazio.
Cagliari moved further away from the relegation zone after narrowly beating a ten-man Parma side 1-0 at the Stadio Sant’Elia. Ghana midfielder Afriyie Acquah played the full 90 minutes for Parma.
Torino handed Udinese their third defeat in five games after beating them 2-0 on Sunday afternoon. Ghana midfielder Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu was booked on the 29th minute and played the entire first-half for Udinese. Youngster Emmanuel Gyasi could not make the Torino squad for the game.
Isaac Cofie sat on the Genoa bench when they held Atalanta to a 1-1 draw at the Stadio Atleti Azzurri d’Italia.
In the Serie B, Amidu Salifu was introduced in the 56th minute by Modena who drew 3-3 with Ternana on Friday night.
Brescia moved to 12th place after beating Cesena 3-0 on Saturday. Former Inter Milan youth team forward Isaac Ntow missed the game with injury while Mase Nana Addo Welbeck could not make the Brescia team for the game. But Moro Al-Hassan was on the bench.
Fiorentina loanee Maxwell Acosty was benched by Carpi who drew 0-0 with Siena on Saturday.
Masahudu Alhassan played for Latina but he could not help them avoid a 3-1 home defeat against Palermo.

Derek Boateng watched from the stands at the Craven Cottage when his Fulham side drew 2-2 with Hull City.
In the Championship, Dutch-born Akwasi Asante could not make the Birmingham City team when they lost 3-1 Leeds United at the St Andrew’s Stadium.
Albert Adomah played 90 minutes and set up the third goal for Middlesbrough who cruised to a resounding 3-1 victory over Barnsley. Emmanuel Frimpong and former Manchester United U18 striker John Cofie were both not in the Barnsley team.

Yeovil Town have suffered relegation from the Championship as they fate was confirmed on Friday after they lost 2-0 at Brighton & Hove Albion. Former Chelsea U21 captain Nana Ofori Twumasi warmed their bench in the game.
In the League One, former Manchester City U19 defender Curtis Obeng played the first 45 minutes for Stevenage who beat Walsall 3-2.

Borussia M’gladbach enhanced their credibility in the league by posting a 1-0 win over Schalke 04 at the Veltins Arena on Sunday. Ghana midfielder Kevin-Prince Boateng played the entire 90 minutes for the Royal Blues but Anthony Annan warmed the bench.
In the Bundesliga II, Greuther Furth suffered a 2-1 home loss against 1860 München on Friday. Ghana defender Abdul Baba Rahman was benched by Furth.
