According to reports, the entire family made up of seven people together with other animals in the compound were discovered on Monday lifeless at their residence after they had gone missing since Friday.
The Assemblyman for the area, Kofi Senyo on the Citi Prime News said: “The man, his wife and five children all died in the room. The door was locked from outside.”
According to him, the door and windows had to be forced open before they gained access into the room where the bodies were already decomposing.
He was however quick to add that “there is nothing to show whether it was gunshot or a knife or anything at all.”
Mr. Senyo mentioned that the Police Commander at Adidome came to the scene with his men on Monday while the Regional Police Commander, the Divisional Crime Officer have also visited the scene.
The decomposing bodies have since been conveyed to a hospital in Adidome for autopsy.
