Cape Coast Ebusua Dwarfs gave their quest for league survival some much needed oxygen with an emphatic win at the Robert Mensah Stadium against Kpandu Hearts of lions.
Goals from Joseph Entsil and Robert Gadze in the first half put the home team in a commanding position going into the break after which they came back and sealed all three points with Frederick Boateng grabbing a brace.
In an interview with Citi Sports the public relations officer of the club Adjetey Djanie believes the quality of talent on display at the club will be enough to help them avoid relegation come the final day of the season.
“These are hard times for the club, but I strongly believe that we have a team that should ensure that we return next season as a premier division side.
“I can’t say much but, I know that we will survive come that final day of the season,”he said.
The win, however, still leaves Ebusua Dwarfs at the bottom of the First Capital Plus Premier league log with just four games to end the season.
