Kpando Heart of Lions have expressed disappointment at the weekend’s 2-2 home draw with Inter Allies.
Lions had to come back from 2-1 down to pluck a late equaliser in a match they were expected to win and the result displeased the home fans and the club’s management as well.
“The team has come in for in a lot of criticism after the result on the day.
I can surely understand the supporters because they expected us to win this match as we had won only once in our last three games.
Unfortunately, the players were not up to the task”, said the club’s spokesperson Eric Collins Odoom in an interview with Citi Sports on Monday.
The result left Lions 4th on the log with 31 points, but they are now tied on points with AshGold who beat New Edubiase 2-1 in the Adansiman Derby at the Len Clay Stadium.
