Citi News has gathered the Finance Minister, Seth Tekper is scheduled to make what top leadership of parliament are calling a major economic policy statement in the House on Tuesday.
The statement, insiders say will indicate how the Mahama government intends to arrest the nation’s economic decline and may include a direct appeal to the IMF and donors to release pledges that have been withheld for over a year.
The leadership of the majority side is said to be lobbying to get the entire nation behind the statement which some are calling “the last hope” of arresting the economic problems.
