Citi Business News has gathered that the Deputy Director in charge of Finance and Administration at the Ghana Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) William Orhin has been replaced.
Mr Orhin has been asked to report to the Transport ministry for reassignment.
His position will now be filled by the current head of audit at the authority Abdullai Alhassan.
Meanwhile Matey Boye Atoklo has been appointed as the Deputy Director General in charge of Technical services.
The appointment of a Deputy Director General in charge of Technical services was one of a number of demands made by striking air traffic controllers early this month.
The traffic controllers had refused to work at the time until the appointment of a Deputy Director General in charge of Technical services safety was made.
They also wanted air navigation services to be decoupled from the regulatory function of the GCAA.
Their strike led to the cancelation of local flights across the country early this month.
