
Former Black Stars coach Claude le Roy says current coach Kwasi Appiah must be his own man to succeed at the World Cup.
Le Roy, now coach of Congo Brazzaville was responding to reports that Appiah is considering options for an advisor including Serbian tactician Milovan Rajevac.
“The Coach should be a tough man and make his own calls because Ghana is a strong footballing national with great players,” Le Roy told Al Malakoot Sat.
“I think he knows the magnitude of the competition, he is going into and that should serve enough motivation to try and work with the best to achieve results for his country.”
“Ghana’s ability to qualify from the group will depend on the players selected and the mental set they carry into the tournament,” the Frenchman who led Ghana to finish third at the 2008 Africa Cup of Nations opined
