The suspects pleaded not guilty to the three charges of Assault, Offensive Conduct and Conspiracy.
Meanwhile the District Executives of the Ghana National Association of Teache(GNAT) were in court to support the teacher.
Speaking to Citi News, the GNAT Asunafo District Secretary, Samuel Davis Yeboah said he has directed all its members in the district who boycotted classes because of the incident to return to the classrooms.
“Initially we asked our members there to stay away from classes. We advocated that if the culprits were not arrested, we would take actions against them but now that the culprits have been arrested I don’t think it will be fair to punish all the students,” he explained.
