The managers of  Braimah Kamoko, alias Bukom Banku, has on behalf of their ward rendered an unqualified apology  to the renowned Nigerian evangelist, Prophet Temitope Balogun Joshua aka T.B. Joshua, over an unsavoury comments made  against   the evangelist in the heat of the verbal exchanges between Banku and Ayittey Powers.

In the said comment, Banku threatened to beat the man of God after defeating Powers in their scheduled April 18  slugfest.

Banku’s reference to T.B. Joshua was because his opponent had earlier disclosed that he was  a convert of Joshua’s Synagogue Church of All Nations.

In a build-up to his upcoming cruiserweight bout in April 18, Powers disclosed  that his Nigerian prophet, Joshua had prophesied that he would defeat Banku.

But Banku did not take kindly to the said prophesy and, in response, said he would knock out Powers in the seventh round and then beat the Nigerian prophet in addition.

“I would beat Ayittey Powers and beat T.B. Joshua,” he stated.

Since Kamoko’s unsavoury remarks, followers of the Nigerian prophet have taken issues with the boxer and called on him to retract and apologise.

Speaking to the  Graphic Sports, Kamoko’s manager, Abraham Kotey Neequaye, stated that his boxer had no intentions of disparaging the venerable prophet.

“T.B. Joshua is like a father to Bukom Banku. He has no intention of beating him, but rather beat Ayittey Powers in the ring, come April 18,” he noted.
