Football - 2011 Glo Super CUP -B. Chelsea V Nania FC - Accra Sport Stadium-CTChief Executive Officer of Inter Allies, Eric Delali Senaye, has expressed his growing displeasure at the high number of goals his team gives away in the early stages of their league games this season.

Inter Allies have fallen behind first in all their matches played in the second round of the First Capital Plus Bank Premier League and the trend was not too different in the first round either and Senaye, speaking in an interview with Citi Sports after their 2-2 draw with Medeama on Sunday, said the cycle had to end at a point as relegation was looming.

“We need to stop giving these easy goals away when we start our games. That is the problem I have with the boys.

Our football is positive but if we cannot stop conceding ‘cheap’ goals, then we will have problems on our hands.

We have to get winning games now because I am getting worried as a club owner with our results.”

The 2-2 result in Tema left Inter Allies still locked at the bottom of the table with 13 points; seven points from safety and Senaye told Citi Sports the outcome was not the best despite Medeama’s efforts at getting revenge for a 1-0 loss in Tarkwa back in December 2013.

Victor Ayire and Kwame Boahen put Medeama 2-1 up after falling behind to a Sadat Karim goal but Prosper Kassim levelled the game for Inter Allies.

The Tema-based side will play King Faisal in Tema in the next round of league matches on 26th February, 2014.
