Before giving his judgment on the case, presiding Judge, Justice Ajet-Nasam questioned why the state prosecutors failed to call in key witnesses to testify.<\/strong><\/span><\/a><\/p>\n This, according to many including ex-President John Rawlings<\/strong><\/span><\/a> believe contributed to the state losing the case.<\/p>\n Anti-corruption crusader, Sydney Casely-Hayford has said Woyome was not the true culprit<\/strong> <\/span><\/a>in the criminal case brought against him by the state.<\/p>\n \u201cI think the right persons who should have been charged in all of this was Betty Mould, Barton Oduro, all the other affiliates\u2026they were the true culprits in all of this,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n Speaking to Citi News<\/strong> however, Counsel for Mrs. Mould Iddrisu, Nana Ato Dadzie said her client has committed no crime to warrant her arrest.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n He maintained that \u201cthe call for the arrest of Betty is baseless because she has committed no crime.\u201d<\/p>\n Ato Dadzie has advised Mrs Mould Iddrisu not to comment on the current judgment since the Attorney General\u2019s Department has appealed the ruling.<\/p>\n \u201cThis is a democracy; everybody can have a say \u2013 both lawyers and non-lawyers, people who have read the judgment, people who have not read the judgment, people who understand law, people who do not understand law, knowledgeable lawyers and lawyers who are even deliberately distorting facts and the law \u2013 they are all making their comments,\u201d he remarked.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n By: Efua Idan Osam\/citifmonline.com\/Ghana![\"Betty](\"http:\/\/4cd.e16.myftpupload.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/10\/Betty-Mould.jpg\")
