Lead counsel for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the land mark election petition, Philip Addison is expected to\u00a0challenge the incumbent Member of Parliament for Korle Klottey constituency, Nii Armah Ashitey in the 2016 general elections.<\/p>\n

Some NPP members have reportedly began putting up his posters and banners in \u00a0communities within the constituency.<\/p>\n

Some of these posters have surfaced on social media.<\/p>\n

Addison led the legal team of the petitioners when they presented to the Supreme Court a geographic representation of the spread of the \u201cconstitutional, statutory violations and irregularities\u201d that they claimed affected the conduct and outcome of the December 7, 2012 General Elections.<\/p>\n

The lawyer proved his legal mettle during his cross-examination of Dr Kwadwo Afari-Gyan in the heat of the proceedings at the Supreme Court, winning the heart of Ghanaians in the political spectrum.<\/p>\n

The incumbent MP,Nii Armah won the seat with 50.6% of the vote and a majority of 2,622 representing 4.3% in the 2012 elections.<\/p>\n
