Black Stars head coach Avram Grant is not\u00a0ruling out the possibility of inviting new players into the team ahead of the team’s upcoming international friendly matches.<\/p>\n
[contextly_sidebar id=”7w0xSXkk0iJ8KLGzHrIlONemfJlf0Cf7″]The Ghana Football Association has lined up games for the 28th and the 31st of March\u00a0but is yet to confirm who the Black Stars opponents will be.<\/p>\n
Meanwhile earlier, sources at the GFA had hinted to Citi Sports that Mali had agreed to play the Stars.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe door will be open always for new players but I think the players that you saw at the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) are the best for the upcoming years of the Black Stars,” Grant said this at a press briefing on Tuesday.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt will not be all of them but 60-70 percent will be in there if they continue to show quality, development, good mentality and good spirit they will continue because this is their time but the door will be open for other players, I think you will see,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n
The first friendly match will be the Black Stars first game after winning\u00a0silver at the recently held AFCON in Equatorial Guinea.<\/p>\n
