Kotoko had lost two straight games before kickoff, but the win slightly puts the Reds on top of the pile as fierce rivals Hearts <\/strong>contrived to lose against Liberty.<\/p>\nKotoko are thus nine points clear.<\/p>\n
In Dansoman<\/strong>, Liberty overpowered Hearts of Oak 3-1.<\/p>\nMichael Appiah, Tuffour Frimpong and Anthony Nimoh made sure of the win for Liberty, with Ollenu Ashitey getting Hearts’ goal.<\/p>\n
At the Essipon Stadium, Hasaacas finished off ten-man Wa All Stars 3-0 with goals from Alex Arhinful, Roger Lamptey and Frederick Quayson.<\/p>\n
Heart of Lions<\/strong> got their hopes of making the CAF Champions League renewed after defeating Edubiase 1-0, with the goal from Mohammed Razir.<\/p>\nKotoko are certain to make another Champions League berth, but it is now up to Hearts (38), Hearts of Lions (37) and possibly Hasaacas (35) to slug it out.<\/p>\n
