A retired Police Superintendent Paul Avuyi has attributed the numerous Police recruitment scams in the Ghana Service to what he describes as the “protocol system”.<\/p>\n
“The\u00a0emergence of interference in the Police recruitment by way of protocol enlistment have also added to the abuses in the process. That is why we find ourselves in this situation,” the Retired\u00a0Superintendent told Eyewitness News Host, Richard Dela Sky.<\/p>\n
[contextly_sidebar id=”9JDMSOiboJqaTU6V00CoegsbdELnHzfJ”]Last week, hundreds of men and women<\/strong><\/a> <\/span>arrived at five police training depots for enlistments into the Ghana Police Service but they were turned away after it was discovered that the enlistment was a scam and their recruitment letters were fake.<\/p>\n The Interior Ministry together with the Ghana Police Administration launched investigations<\/strong><\/a><\/span> into the matter and\u00a0mounted an intensive search for the culprits.<\/p>\n
