Authorities at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital have confirmed to Citi News<\/strong> the receipt of some medical equipment\u00a0captured in the President\u2019s State of the Nation Address last week.<\/p>\n

President John Dramani Mahama during the address mentioned that all teaching hospitals across the country had benefited from the National Medical Equipment Replacement program launched by the government.<\/p>\n

Speaking in an interview with Citi News<\/strong> the Head of Technical Service of KATH, Mr. George Tetteh confirmed that the hospital had received some imaging equipment. \u201cWe did receive some medical equipment from the national equipment replacement policy, so we also as a hospital benefited from that particular program from the ministry of health. We had some 2 floor-mounted x-ray machines, one foroscopy machine and one mammograph machine.\u201d<\/p>\n
