The Supreme Court has adjourned Sine Die (indefinitely), the case involving the Chief Executive Officer of Citi FM<\/strong>, Samuel Atta-Mensah and the Speaker of Parliament, Edward Doe Adjaho.<\/p>\n [contextly_sidebar id=”ksy8DaFLBEWeJ2F56K6JLfbVA841a1og”]The case which was earlier scheduled for Thursday was not\u00a0heard and according to information available to citifmonline.com,<\/strong>\u00a0one of the judges was not available.<\/p>\n The registrar is expected to communicate the new date to the lawyers later.<\/p>\n Background<\/strong><\/p>\n Mr\u00a0Samuel Atta-Mensah is praying the Supreme court to declare as unconstitutional<\/strong><\/a><\/span>, the Speaker of Parliament Edward Doe Adjaho\u2019s decision not to be sworn in as President before acting in that position in the absence of the President and his Vice.<\/p>\n The Speaker, Edward Doe Adjaho, on two occasions, refused to take the mandatory oath of office<\/strong><\/a><\/span>, while the President, John Mahama and his Vice, Amissah-Arthur were on official assignments.<\/p>\n
