Two men, who allegedly attacked and robbed a national service personnel of his laptop computer and mobile phone, have been ordered by a Kumasi Circuit Court, presided over by Mr. William Boampong, to be held in prison custody.<\/p>\n
Yussif Adams and Yussif Musah are facing charges of conspiracy and robbery and they both pleaded not guilty.<\/p>\n
They would make their next court appearance on Friday, March 13.<\/p>\n
Police Inspector Timothy Amoako said the incident happened at Bomso near the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) on February 8, at about 2300 hours.<\/p>\n
The victim, Blagogee Keli Kobla, was returning to the house after attending a programme, when the pair and another person on the run, identified only as Watara, riding together on a motorbike and armed with a locally-manufactured pistol, attacked him.<\/p>\n
They seized his laptop computer and cellular phone costing GH\u00a21,300 but they were later intercepted by members of the Bomso Neighbourhood Watch Committee.<\/p>\n
The prosecution said Adams and Musah were arrested but Watara managed to slip through.<\/p>\n
He said the stolen computer and phone had been recovered.<\/p>\n
