A report by a human rights group indicates that Ugandan Police harass and physically abuse gay people in custody\/<\/p>\n
According to the BBC, Chaptter Four\u00a0Uganda documented several cases of men suspected of being homosexual having intrusive physical examinations.<\/p>\n
Homosexuality is illegal in Uganda and the government is planning to introduce new harsher legislation for the act.<\/p>\n
Uganda’s internal affairs minister has denied the gallegations but has said his office will take a look at the findings.<\/p>\n
Aronda Nyakairima told the BBC that the Ugandan government did not discriminate against anyone.<\/p>\n
