She said they had to go back to refill their tanks to be able to put douse the fire.<\/p>\n<p>Reports indicate that the fire which started around 4:30am on Friday, has destroyed goods and shops worth thousands of cedis.<\/p>\n<p>The cause of the fire and the extent of the damage are yet to be determined.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/4cd.e16.myftpupload.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/03\/makola-fire-4.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-9436\" alt=\"makola fire 4\" src=\"http:\/\/4cd.e16.myftpupload.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/03\/makola-fire-4.jpg\" width=\"700\" height=\"525\" srcset=\"https:\/\/citifmonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/03\/makola-fire-4.jpg 700w, https:\/\/citifmonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/03\/makola-fire-4-300x225.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 700px) 100vw, 700px\" \/><\/a>The fire started at the market from the shops at the Tudu STC yard .<\/p>\n<p>This is the second fire at market in Accra. In 2014, parts of almost all the major markets in the country were destroyed by fire.
