{"id":92200,"date":"2015-02-17T14:32:09","date_gmt":"2015-02-17T14:32:09","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/4cd.e16.myftpupload.com\/?p=92200"},"modified":"2015-02-17T14:32:09","modified_gmt":"2015-02-17T14:32:09","slug":"etv-100-influential-list","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/citifmonline.com\/2015\/02\/etv-100-influential-list\/","title":{"rendered":"ETV 100 Most Influential list out"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: left;\">E.TV Ghana, organizer of \u00a0the Ghana\u2019s Most Influential Awards, has released the final list of the Most Influential Personalities for the year 2014.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">In its fifth year running, the Ghana Most Influential Awards is an annual event organized by the station to recognize Ghanaians who have made great impact in terms of having the power to impact positively and effect change in their area of expertise in the Ghanaian society during the year under review.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">The top 20 out of the 100 Most Influential Personalities for the year 2014 in Ghana include <b>Dr. Mensah Otabil, Nana Addo Danquah Akufo Addo, Martin Amidu, Nathaniel Kwabena Anokye Adisi (Bola Ray), Ace Ankomah, Sheik Osman Nuhu Shaributu, Prince Kofi Amoabeng, Charles Kwadwo Fosu (Daddy Lumba), Anas Aremeyaw Anas, Osei Kwame Despite, Dr.Mahamudu Bawumia, Otumfuo Osei Tutu Ii, Archbishop Nicholas Duncan Williams, Prez. John Agyekum Kufuor, Bishop Dag Heward Mills, Prez Jerry John Rawlings, Togbe Afede Xvi, Dr. Sam Jonah, Michael Owusu Addo (Sarkodie), And Mr. Alfred Vanderpuye.<\/b><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">E.TV officially started the process for the fifth edition of the Ghana\u2019s Most Influential Awards in November 2014 when nominations opened for the public to nominate personalities they believe have been most influential in the year 2014.\u00a0Nominations were solicited from the streets with forms, via text through a short code, and via E.TV Ghana\u2019s Facebook page and website.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Unlike previous years when public voting constituted 100%, the voting system for 2014 was revised. Public voting was 70%, whilst a specially constituted committee had a 30% voting weight, totaling 100%. The entire voting process was verified, vetted and approved by Pannell Kerr Forster (PKF), a highly respected audit firm as well as K-Archy Consult.<\/p>\n<p>Ms. Naomi Nelson, Head of Corporate Communications at Global Media Alliance, parent company of e.TV Ghana in a statement said \u201ce.TV Ghana is in its fifth year of conducting the Ghana Most Influential Awards, and we are proud to honor these distinguished personalities who made a huge impact in our society in 2014, as voted by the public.
