A heavy rainstorm has rendered some inhabitants of Yaw Tanor-Afranse town in the West Akim Municipality homeless.<\/p>\n

According to Citi News<\/strong>\u2019 Eastern Regional correspondent, Appiah Kubi, \u201cmost of the buildings in the village had their roofs ripped off by the rainstorm which also contributed to several loss of properties in the area.\u201d<\/p>\n

He said the incident happened on Saturday evening.<\/p>\n

He noted that the inhabitants are pleading with\u00a0government and philanthropists to come to their aid to provide them with shelter.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, a similar incident<\/strong><\/a><\/span>, which happened in Tolon in the Northern Region some months ago, ripped off the roofs of some classrooms in the area.<\/p>\n

One of the affected schools was the Woribogu Ahmadiya Primary School where teaching and learning materials got soaked by the continuous rains.<\/p>\n
