The Chief Executive Officer of the Consumer Protection Agency, a consumer right agency, Kofi Capito has accused the government of preventing the Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) from making their load shedding timetable public.<\/p>\n
[contextly_sidebar id=”s1wBsgmzsrYhnjduHEsFBw7MKIwmpUha”]Speaking to Citi News,<\/strong> Kofi Capito said government is afraid of the reaction of Ghanaians to such schedule hence the decision to stop the ECG from publishing the load shedding schedule.<\/p>\n \u201cI will be honest with you ECG has a timetable. I am aware that policy makers don\u2019t want the public to know about the timetable. We know they have started using that unofficial timetable and officially you and I do not know about that timetable. Because somebody, a policymaker, or government, or minister or regulator is afraid to talk about it,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n
