{"id":84546,"date":"2015-01-21T19:09:37","date_gmt":"2015-01-21T19:09:37","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/4cd.e16.myftpupload.com\/?p=84546"},"modified":"2015-01-21T21:58:08","modified_gmt":"2015-01-21T21:58:08","slug":"attack-on-govt-websites-minister-says-they-suspect-turkish-hackers","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/citifmonline.com\/2015\/01\/attack-on-govt-websites-minister-says-they-suspect-turkish-hackers\/","title":{"rendered":"Gov&#8217;t cyber attack: Turkish based hackers suspected"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Government says it suspects the hackers who\u00a0<strong><span style=\"color: #666699;\"><a style=\"color: #666699;\" href=\"http:\/\/4cd.e16.myftpupload.com\/2015\/01\/21\/govt-of-ghana-website-hacked\/\" target=\"_blank\">hijacked its websites<\/a><\/span>\u00a0<\/strong><span style=\"color: #333333;\">are<\/span><strong>\u00a0<\/strong>based in Turkey<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Several government websites including the Government of Ghana website were attacked on\u00a0Wednesday.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">[contextly_sidebar id=&#8221;SAwvK23x0G8B4n6uy16hdgQbhWOmm02L&#8221;]Speaking on <strong>Eyewitness News<\/strong>, a Deputy Communications Minister, Ato Sarpong \u00a0said their investigations affirm that the hackers were based in Turkey.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">When asked whether they would engage Turkish authorities in the investigations, Mr Sarpong said \u201cThat is what it seems, I don\u2019t want us to look at it as a Turkish thing against a Ghana thing.
