\"police<\/a>A Police Lance Corporal has been arrested for allegedly raping the wife of another Lance Corporal at Nungua in Accra.<\/p>\n

The alleged rapist (name withheld) is said to have lured the victim (also name withheld) to his room on March 19 this year and forcibly had sex with her.<\/p>\n

After the incident, the victim is said to have reported the case to the Domestic Violence and Victims Support Unit (DOVVSU) of the Kpeshie Divisional Police Command.<\/p>\n

According to Finder investigations, the suspect was, therefore, arrested and is in police custody while investigations continue.<\/p>\n

The investigations revealed that the police are waiting for medical report<\/span> to continue with investigations<\/span>.<\/p>\n

The Finder’s investigation indicates that the suspect is a close friend of the victim’s husband (name withheld), who also happens to be a Police Lance Corporal.<\/p>\n

The investigations revealed that the victim trusted the alleged suspect because of the close friendship that exists between her husband and the suspect.<\/p>\n

The victim therefore least suspected the husband’s friend to attempt to rape her.<\/p>\n

The investigations also revealed that the victim is a married woman with one child while the suspect, on the other hand, is said to have been recently married and has no child yet.<\/p>\n

The two Lance Corporals have been close friends for some time now and both live in separate rented apartments at Nungua.<\/p>\n

The suspect, the victim and her husband are all said to be in their 20s.<\/p>\n
