Following threats by the chiefs and people of the Asogli state in the Volta region, that they will replace the Police with their traditional warriors to provide security, \u00a0the Police Administration has deployed more officers to the area to protect the people.<\/p>\n
The angry Asogli\u00a0chief\u00a0threatened to take their safety into their own hands after they expressed concerns over the spate of criminal activities in the area.<\/p>\n
In an interview with Citi News<\/strong>, the Volta Regional Police Commander ACP Peterkin Yentumi Gyinae disclosed that about 30 police officers have been deployed from the National Headquarters to the area to beef up the local patrol team and intensify surveillance in the area.<\/p>\n
