Kwesi Kyei Darkwa (KKD) is not yet a free man as the\u00a0Attorney General (AG) Department says it is yet to act on a letter written to\u00a0it by the alleged rape victim for the case to be discontinued.<\/p>\n
[contextly_sidebar id=”NNouehu95pA6h0oenMw4mdBqJreCjy86″] The 19-year old alleged raped victim wrote a letter to the court on her decision to discontinue the case citing the \u201cmedia frenzy\u201d which followed KKD\u2019s arrest and the never-ending buzz and social media posts as reasons for her decision.<\/p>\n
The letter was subsequently forwarded to the AG’s department.<\/p>\n
According to senior state attorney at the AG\u2019s department, Vivian Lamptey, though they have received the letter, there are a number of questions to be answered before a final decision is taken on the matter.<\/p>\n
