{"id":79839,"date":"2015-01-06T14:45:54","date_gmt":"2015-01-06T14:45:54","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/4cd.e16.myftpupload.com\/?p=79839"},"modified":"2015-01-07T10:21:21","modified_gmt":"2015-01-07T10:21:21","slug":"damongo-mp-donates-motorbikes-to-health-facilities","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/citifmonline.com\/2015\/01\/damongo-mp-donates-motorbikes-to-health-facilities\/","title":{"rendered":"Damongo MP donates motorbikes to health facilities"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Member of Parliament (MP) for the Damongo Constituency, Adams Mutawakilu Galus has donated ten motor bikes to the Community Based Health Planning and Services (CHPS) compound and another clinic in the West Gonja District.<\/p>\n<p>[contextly_sidebar id=&#8221;6949ol9t4p1ZQ1WS1Hn8Tz5pQ1eHZmGC&#8221;]This move according to the MP is aimed at helping Health personnel in Damongo to deliver quality health care to residents in and outside the West Gonja District.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI made a certain promise I said it is my hope that this place will be a polyclinic soon. Therefore these motorbikes will hopefully help to ensure the smooth running of the health Centre,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>The MP therefore urged the people of the of the West Gonja district to keep faith in the ruling party\u2019s better Ghana agenda<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe president and his determination to make sure that we have access to health care he has directed that all his appointees including him, 10 percent will be deducted from their salaries for the construction of CHIP compounds,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n<p>He added that as member of the party it was their duty to help the president achieve these dreams.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile the sub in charge of the health center, Al-Hassan Mohamed applauded the MP\u2019s move adding the bikes came at a needed time<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIf we tell you how much we are spending on our motorbike you won\u2019t believe because you look at the attendance in this community the number we have seen is more than the community as most people in and around town attend our facilities\u201d he disclosed.<\/p>\n<p>&#8211;<\/p>\n<p>By: Patricia Conteh\/citifmonline.com\/Ghana<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Member of Parliament (MP) for the Damongo Constituency, Adams Mutawakilu Galus has donated ten motor bikes to the Community Based Health Planning and Services (CHPS) compound and another clinic in the West Gonja District.
