Sony did not immediately respond to<em>Mashable<\/em>&#8216;s request for comment.<\/p>\n<p>The comedy was first released in a limited theatrical run on Christmas Day, as well as online on Christmas Eve via digital platforms such as YouTube, Google Play, Xbox Video and Sony-launched SeeTheInterview.com. Apple also agreed to add the film on iTunes earlier this week.<\/p>\n<p>With Wednesday&#8217;s announcement, Sony is adding the following services to the list: Bright House Networks, Comcast, Cox Communications, Time Warner, Cablevision, Charter Communications, AT&amp;T U-verse TV, Verizon FiOS, Direct TV and Walmart\u2019s Vudu.<\/p>\n<p>The company also said it will offer <em>The Interview<\/em> on its Playstation Network starting Thursday, and expand the film&#8217;s theatrical release to 580 independent theaters by Friday, according toReuters.<\/p>\n<p>Sony pulled <em>The Interview<\/em> from theatrical release earlier this month, following vague threats from anonymous hackers responsible for a massive cyberattack against the company.
