Embattled hiplife artiste, Kwaw Kese has been granted bail.<\/p>\n
His lawyers managed to secure his bail ahead of his next court date on January 5.<\/p>\n
[contextly_sidebar id=”JFCxTShzFO3vcFVAqcZybD0pbUmugRwu”]Kwaw Kese, born Emmanuel Botchway was arrested for allegedly smoking a substance suspected to be Indian hemp in public, at a drinking spot close to the popular \u2018+2 Pub\u2019 in Nhyiaeso in Kumasi.<\/p>\n
Both the Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly (KMA) Circuit court and the Kumasi High court had refused the artiste bail four consecutive times.<\/p>\n
His last appearence in court on December 23, Kwaw Kese pleaded with the judge to grant him bail but his application was denied<\/p>\n
Since his arrest on Saturday, November 22, he has been rushed to the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital (KATH) on two occasions for severe stomachache.<\/p>\n
As at Monday, December 29, he was still on admission and was responding to treatment.<\/p>\n
