Popular Ghanaian personality, Kwasi Kyei Darkwa (KKD) will spend another night in the custody of the Police.<\/p>\n
The Police on Monday processed him for court<\/strong> <\/span><\/a>but due to their late arrival, they were unable to present their case to the court.<\/p>\n [contextly_sidebar id=”fSevfJCzAKrM67x96Qy2AADV9F58wzc9″]The Police will therefore have to present their case on Tuesday, December 30.<\/p>\n KKD was arrested on Sunday<\/strong> <\/span><\/a>at the African Regent Hotel for alleged sexual assault of a 19-year-old girl.<\/p>\n His Counsel, Nana Asante Bediatuo has\u00a0dismissed the claims with the explanation that his\u00a0client and the complainant\u00a0had \u201cconsensual sex\u201d.<\/p>\n In an earlier interview with Citi News<\/strong>, Nana Asante Bediatuo was optimistic of securing a bail for KKD<\/strong><\/span><\/a>\u00a0considering the merits of the case.<\/p>\n He also commended the Police personnel at the\u00a0Airport Police station for not infringing upon the rights of his client since his arrest on Sunday.<\/p>\n Meanwhile, the Police are yet to formally charge him.<\/p>\n The Public Relations Officer (PRO) of the\u00a0Accra Police Command, ASP Afia Tenge told Citi News<\/strong>, \u201che is being held for allegedly assaulting somebody sexually.
