{"id":77841,"date":"2014-12-28T16:21:46","date_gmt":"2014-12-28T16:21:46","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/4cd.e16.myftpupload.com\/?p=77841"},"modified":"2014-12-28T16:21:46","modified_gmt":"2014-12-28T16:21:46","slug":"youth-urged-to-create-their-own-businesses","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/citifmonline.com\/2014\/12\/youth-urged-to-create-their-own-businesses\/","title":{"rendered":"Youth urged to create their own businesses\u00a0"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Madam Edna Nyame, the vice President of the Federation of United Nations Associations, on Saturday called on the unemployed youth to take up the challenge of\u00a0creating businesses on their own.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">[contextly_sidebar id=&#8221;GNDb9SEA0Jd9lZ14EPbfHe0soIXNhp6C&#8221;]She said people who are unemployed would continue to be in the situation they find themselves if they do not take the initiative and establish their own businesses.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Madam Nyame was speaking at a day\u2019s seminar organised by the EMBAdot Ghana Group Limited for the youth at Anaji near Takoradi.<\/p>\n<p>The seminar which was on the theme: \u201cBuilding an empire of opportunities and haunting for success,\u201d formed part of the youth empowerment programme of the group.<\/p>\n<p>Madam Nyame said it is possible for young people to set up businesses and they must not sit down and \u201cexpect manna to fall from heaven\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>She said the youth must develop their potentials and learn some trades in order to achieve their dream businesses.<\/p>\n<p>Mr William Daniel Mensa, Bogoso branch Manager of GN Bank, advised the youth to have the vision of the sort of businesses they want to establish and execute it with determination.<\/p>\n<p>He said they must focus on their vision and not give up when they encounter challenges.<\/p>\n<p>Reverend Charlie Sam, Head Pastor and Founder of Faith House Chapel International, asked the youth to have vision and purpose.<\/p>\n<p>He said the youth must drive their destiny with vision and purpose to enable them succeed in life.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&#8211;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Source: GNA<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Madam Edna Nyame, the vice President of the Federation of United Nations Associations, on Saturday called on the unemployed youth to take up the challenge of\u00a0creating businesses on their own.
