The General Secretary of the Convention People’s Party (CPP), Ivor Greenstreet has said Ghanaians are yet to experience the much touted Better Ghana Agenda of the governing National Democratic Congress (NDC) since they took over power in 2008.

According to him, Ghanaians are suffering under severe economic hardships under the current government.

“Apparently nobody, I mean nobody is seeing your better Ghana agenda. Continuous dumsor, dumsor. Corruption from top to bottom, left right inside out and all the challenges you are facing is suffocating the Ghanaian people.”

[contextly_sidebar id=”mXRBfhHPdiqoEWoMi5qUGXY1Id935k1l”]Listing the current load-shedding exercise and the increase in corruption as some of the major problems impeding the development of the country, he said instead of tackling the many challenges, the NDC has chosen to host an elaborate national delegates congress.

He said the government has not only failed to fight corruption but it has not shown that it cares enough about the impact of its ill-thought policies on the Ghanaian.

He said: “The most painful thing of all is that you dont care ‘Yoo’ NDC continue, we are watching you, Ghana is watching you. Do what you want to do , we also know what we will come and do.”

Using the popular phrase “Boys abr3”, meaning men are suffering , an angry Mr. Greenstreet charged the NDC government to take stringent measures to solve the many problems facing the nation.

“We would have thought that perhaps you would have used an occasion like this to discuss policies, programmes and solutions to all the difficulties we are facing as a nation but no you chose today to share your Christmas gifts with each other. Ghanaians are not happy at all.”o…Boys Abr3, boys abr3,” he concluded.

Meanwhile the General Secretary of the New Patriotic Party(NPP), Kwabena Agyepong has bemoaned the current state of the economy under Mahama led administration.

According to him, events over the past 12 months under the leadership of President Mahama have “paralysed businesses, caused pain, depression and general despondency.”

He therefore advised the party to talk less and work harder to ensure that Ghana’s economic status improves.

“What Ghana needs now is a political leadership that is courageous, that is competent and passionate. What we require now is less talk and more actions”

“As politicians, we have a duty to live by example by upholding and respecting, the values of society.Tolerance, decency, discipline must guide the way we interact with each other,” he stated.
