Where are the guns?&#8221; He said.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The robbers reportedly whipped the officer, Samuel akuinor for several minutes, forcing him to give in to their demand and directed them to the room where the gun was.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The robbers broke into the room, ransacked the place and made away with a ten round SMG Ruffle TB3569.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The errand boy at the check point nicknamed Togbui who could not stand the treatment being meted out to the officer threw a chair at one of the robbers.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/4cd.e16.myftpupload.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/12\/ceps1.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-74334\" src=\"http:\/\/4cd.e16.myftpupload.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/12\/ceps1.jpg\" alt=\"ceps\" width=\"768\" height=\"576\" srcset=\"https:\/\/citifmonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/12\/ceps1.jpg 768w, https:\/\/citifmonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/12\/ceps1-300x225.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 768px) 100vw, 768px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">He subsequently bolted into the bush but one of the robbers opened fire on him, injuring him in the back.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">He is currently receiving treatment at the Volta regional hospital.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Meanwhile the customs officer has also been discharged from the hospital.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Volta Regional Police Commander DCOP Peterking Yentumi who confirmed the incident, has assured that\u00a0perpetrators of the act would be brought to book as investigations are being conducted.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/4cd.e16.myftpupload.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/12\/ce1.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-74335\" src=\"http:\/\/4cd.e16.myftpupload.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/12\/ce1.jpg\" alt=\"ce\" width=\"768\" height=\"576\" srcset=\"https:\/\/citifmonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/12\/ce1.jpg 768w, https:\/\/citifmonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/12\/ce1-300x225.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 768px) 100vw, 768px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&#8211;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">By: King Norbert Akpablie\/citifmonline.com\/Ghana<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Suspected armed robbers, last week, shot one person and assaulted another during an attack on officers of Ghana Revenue Authority &#8211; customs division at their Wodome check point at Kpetoe in the Volta region.
