The Chief of Staff, Prosper Bani has denied reports that government has appointed a Deputy Director of Communications at the Presidency.<\/p>\n

Earlier reports indicated that a former Director of Public Affairs of the Ghana Armed Forces, Colonel Mbawine Atintande, had been appointed as a Deputy Director of Communications at the Flagstaff House.<\/p>\n

Reports further noted that Colonel Atintande was undergoing an orientation at the Presidency and is expected to\u00a0report to the Director of Communications at the Presidency, Ben Dotse Malor.<\/p>\n

However, a statement issued on Friday from the presidency described such reports as\u00a0false.<\/p>\n

According to the Chief of Staff, Colonel Mbawine Atintande (Rtd.) has never been and is not a staff of the Presidency, neither is he an appointee of the government.<\/p>\n
