A Ghanaian Times Reporter, Edem Mensah was physically assaulted by family members and friends of Nayele\u2019s accomplices who appeared before an Accra circuit court on Monday.<\/p>\n
[contextly_sidebar id=”d4Wsx5TM8dJlTvOrku6HE14mWPxq0bzb”]The reporter attempted \u00a0taking photographs of the three accused persons, Alhaji Dawood<\/strong> <\/a><\/span>and two other girls who allegedly aided<\/strong><\/a><\/span>\u00a0Nayale to enter the UK with about 12kg of cocaine.<\/p>\n Citi News\u2019<\/strong> reporter, Franklin Badu Jnr who was in court said the move\u00a0provoked some family members of the accused persons, who attacked the reporter in an attempt to confiscate his camera.<\/p>\n He said the family members numbering about 15 physically assaulted Edem Mensah but some journalists who were around came to his rescue.<\/p>\n Meanwhile, the Accra circuit court will rule on an application for bail<\/strong><\/a><\/span> applied by Alhaji Dawood and the two lady\u2019s.<\/p>\n Alhaji Dawood, a businessman is alleged to have facilitated Nayele\u2019s access through the VVIP lounge<\/strong><\/a><\/span> at the Kotoka International Airport.<\/p>\n He earlier explained to the court he turned himself in to the Bureau of National Investigation<\/strong><\/a><\/span> (BNI) and not arrested as being speculated.<\/p>\n
