{"id":72410,"date":"2014-12-08T14:01:05","date_gmt":"2014-12-08T14:01:05","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/4cd.e16.myftpupload.com\/?p=72410"},"modified":"2014-12-08T14:47:29","modified_gmt":"2014-12-08T14:47:29","slug":"melcom-security-man-smashed-cutter-eyewitness","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/citifmonline.com\/2014\/12\/melcom-security-man-smashed-cutter-eyewitness\/","title":{"rendered":"Melcom security man was smashed with cutter \u2013 Eyewitness"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">An eyewitness has told <strong>Citi News<\/strong> that the <span style=\"color: #666699;\"><a style=\"color: #666699;\" href=\"http:\/\/4cd.e16.myftpupload.com\/2014\/12\/08\/robbers-kill-melcom-security-man\/\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>Melcom security man who was killed<\/strong><\/a><\/span> on Monday dawn was hit on the head with a cutter.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Suspected robbers who broke into the Madina Melcom branch killed the security man on duty after he attempted to fend them off from breaking into the shop.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">[contextly_sidebar id=&#8221;0ZoKdsNeTtRbS3y8hJujYTUZyrE8kyD7&#8243;]The Eyewitness said he was standing in front of his house when the incident happened.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">He narrated that \u201caround 12:30 to 1am, it was lights out by then so I was standing in front of my gate, my house was just behind the Melcom so I just saw there were two guys standing on our lane. What we just heard was siren of the shop sounding.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">He said he quickly went to his window to get a glimpse of what was happening adding that \u201cI saw they smashed the security man with a cutter, the one they use to smash the bugler proof. So he shouted and he was shaking. It was very serious.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cI have a friend, the manager, who is also living around the Melcom, so I asked him what\u2019s wrong this morning and he told me the security man is dead, they smashed his head with a cutter and the cutter is even by the door,&#8221; he lamented.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">He said his friend &#8220;also told me by then they heard the noise and they were calling policemen and they never responded.
