The much anticipated national delegates\u2019 congress of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) could be postponed again.<\/p>\n
The congress which was scheduled to take place in Kumasi on December 13<\/strong> <\/a>is likely to be<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span>rescheduled to December 20.<\/p>\n [contextly_sidebar id=”VuaLduW2X55vSEJjOgeJ4U7sDAEzM8At”]The congress was originally planned for October 25<\/strong><\/span><\/a> but a law suit brought against the leadership of the party by an aggrieved member forced the postponement.<\/p>\n Though sources within the party will not state the reasons behind the rescheduling, Citi News<\/strong> understands that President John Mahama, who is leader of the party may not be available on December 13, hence the decision.<\/p>\n The congress will enable party delegates\u2019 to elect new national executives to lead the party into the 2016 general elections.<\/p>\n
