Brewery giant Guinness Ghana Limited beat hundreds of companies to be crowned the Overall Best Industrial company of the year 2014 at the 3rd Ghana Industry Awards held on Saturday.<\/p>\n
Guinness swept the most enviable award of the night for its outstanding performance \u00a0and contribution to industrialization in Ghana.<\/p>\n
Guinness also picked up the top prize in the Food and Beverages Sector.<\/p>\n

So it is not very narrow-it is not just corporate social responsibility but the difference we are making with the farmers, our sustainability work in manufacturing, our investments that we continue to invest here even while things are tough, it’s about providing consumers with the right choice, the quality of the brands that we are providing, making Guinness Ghana the best place to work for our employees.”<\/p>\n The other award winners of the night were Nestle Ghana which topped the best practices in sustainable manufacturing category.<\/p>\n Telecom Giant, Airtel won the best corporate social responsibility company while Best Employer of the year went to Unilever Ghana.<\/p>\n
