President John Mahama has dissolved the governing board of the Narcotics Control Board (NACOB).<\/p>\n
This comes a day after the Communications Minister Dr. Omane Boamah said on Citi FM<\/strong> that NACOB did not play any role<\/strong><\/span><\/a> in the arrest of a cocaine courier, Nayele Ametefe, even though NACOB had claimed it was involved.<\/p>\n [contextly_sidebar id=”V6Bpa0RpsLmSrPqfccyapQoJK2lzIJcm”]A press statement signed by the Deputy Executive Secretary of NACOB said\u00a0Nayele \u201cwas arrested on the November 10, 2014 through the collaborative effort of the Narcotics Control Board (NACOB) and its British partners<\/strong><\/span><\/a>.\u201d<\/p>\n
