Workers of the Graphic Communications Group Limited say they now work in fear following the dismissal of one of their colleagues, Daniel Kenu<\/strong><\/a><\/span>.<\/p>\n Mr. Kenu who was the company\u2019s Ashanti Regional Editor was sacked over what the company says is disloyalty and misconduct.<\/p>\n Speaking to Citi News<\/strong>, Vice Chairman of the local chapter of the Industrial and Commercial Workers Union at the Graphic Communications Group Limited William Ashaley says Kenu\u2019s dismissal has caused fear among workers<\/p>\n [contextly_sidebar id=”B6TNNRyuJQL245KTi6V17d5b5VxMPHNO”]”After many people realized that Kenu has been dismissed, was one of sadness and fear. For me I tried to encourage a lot of them and I think that everybody should go about his work without fear. Be free to say what you have to say, be free to do what you have to do, we should know our collective agreement properly and\u00a0 then ensure that we do not infringe on the collective agreement. Even if it\u2019s infringed, we are human and such things would have to be addressed in a proper way,” he said.<\/p>\n Mr. Kenu who was attacked by thugs led by former Black Stars striker Baffour Gyan<\/strong><\/a><\/span> some months ago unilaterally withdrew an assault case from court<\/strong><\/a><\/span> to the displeasure of management of the company.<\/p>\n The Graphic Communications Group subsequently sacked Kenu after recommendations from a committee set by the company to investigate the issue.<\/p>\n
