{"id":67220,"date":"2014-11-20T11:31:47","date_gmt":"2014-11-20T11:31:47","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/4cd.e16.myftpupload.com\/?p=67220"},"modified":"2014-11-21T11:59:43","modified_gmt":"2014-11-21T11:59:43","slug":"23-new-shs-construction-finance-minister","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/citifmonline.com\/2014\/11\/23-new-shs-construction-finance-minister\/","title":{"rendered":"23 new SHS under construction &#8211; Finance Minister"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Minister of Finance and Economic Planning, Mr Seth Tekper, has said\u00a0that the government of Ghana is constructing additional 23 new Senior High Schools (SHS) under the Secondary Education Improvement Project.<\/p>\n<p>He made this statement when presenting the 2015 Budget and Economic Statement before Ghana\u2019s parliament.<\/p>\n<p>[contextly_sidebar id=&#8221;kmjt3zZH7FJ4QnBadO0n5y8UdIgfoKFr&#8221;]According to the minister, the construction of the additional 23\u00a0buildings meant for senior high school education is part of government\u2019s agenda to provide quality education for secondary school students.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking before members of parliament on Wednesday \u2013 November 19, 2014 \u2013 the minister said\u00a0that the 2015 budget has made provision for the construction of the additional\u00a023 school buildings.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cUnder the World Bank supported Secondary Education Improvement Project (SEIP), an additional 23 new Senior High Schools are being constructed.
