The Ghana Journalist Association (GJA)\u00a0 has expressed disappointment over the dismissal of \u00a0the Ashanti Regional editor of the Daily Graphic newspaper, Daniel Kenu.<\/p>\n
The General Secretary of the GJA, David Agbenu described Daniel Kenu\u2019s dismissal as “unfair, unjustifiable.”<\/p>\n
[contextly_sidebar id=”aZAJjsDJt7Ogpg5oXu73zBlS9lU7VEiK”]Speaking on Eyewitness News<\/strong>, Mr Agbenu said this was an unfortunate decision, adding that \u201cit is hard to believe that this has happened because it was least expected that this case would end this way; we had supported him to get justice but not the reverse.”<\/p>\n The formal Ashanti Regional Editor dragged Baffour Gyan to court for allegedly leading a group of men to assault him.<\/p>\n He subsequently surprised his employers by\u00a0withdrawing\u00a0the case from court<\/span><\/a><\/strong>\u00a0without prior notice.<\/p>\n
