dismissed Daniel Kenu on Wednesday<\/strong><\/a><\/span> accused him of being “disloyal” to the company \u00a0by withdrawing the case unilaterally from court despite.<\/p>\nBut the GJA’s General Secretary argued that even though the GJA was not happy with Mr Kenu’s decision to withdraw the case, Graphic’s action is “harsh.”<\/p>\n
\u201cWe all were not happy about the step taken by Kenu to withdraw the case from the court, and we had our peace, we spoke our mind and told him it was wrong, but he apologized to everybody so why are we hanging on that and what are we looking for?\u201d he asked.<\/p>\n
The Graphic Communications Group set up a committee to look into Daniel Kenu’s actions and prescribed the dismissal.<\/p>\n
But some staff members of the company are planning a solidarity strike for their colleague.<\/p>\n
They claim that the committee did not prescribe dismissal for Kenu but rather, a suspension and a public apology.<\/p>\n
