Northern Regional Organizer of the governing National Democratic Congress (NDC), Godfred A. Wumbei has called for reconciliation and unity among party members.<\/p>\n
According to him, it will be extremely difficult for the party to retain power in 2016 if losers of the various internal contests and their supporters overlook party activities.<\/p>\n
He said, \u201cThere is a battle ahead of us in 2016 and I want to call for unity in the party for us to see the wayforward, how possible best we can take back all the seats we loss in 2012.\u201d<\/p>\n
[contextly_sidebar id=”ndTgW8iGkItRlPlC21E0DziXqn00NC3T”]He described as totally unacceptable the seven seats won by the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Northern Region at the 2012 general elections.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe will start operations from now and we will make sure that we move from constituency to constituency to win back the seats we loss in 2012.\u201d<\/p>\n
Godfred A. Wumbei admonished NDC youth in the Northern Region to stand firm and support the regional executives to win the entire 31 Parliamentary seats in the region.<\/p>\n
He promised to woo the youth of opposition parties in the region to maximize the NDC\u2019s electoral fortunes in 2016.<\/p>\n
