The defeated Greater Accra Regional Chairman aspirant of the governing National Democratic Congress (NDC), Daniel Amartey has expressed disappointment in events that led to his defeat at the party’s just ended regional congress.<\/p>\n
Daniel Amartey lost with 103 votes to incumbent Chairman, Joseph Ade Coker who polled 157 votes<\/a><\/strong><\/span>\u00a0in the party’s just ended Greater Accra Regional election.<\/p>\n [contextly_sidebar id=”Lx7MH3m8gcMVbb9rTEwgfrCnAgJmRIIy”]Speaking to Citi News<\/strong>, Daniel Amartey said he lost gallantly even though he suspected foul play and what he described as \u201cvote buying.\u201d<\/p>\n He insisted that \u201cthe things that happened on Friday and Saturday were not something anybody should recommend or support because it was too bad.\u201d<\/p>\n
