Five out of 25 people who were involved in multiple registration have been fined GH\u00a2288.00 and banned from exercising their franchise for two years.<\/p>\n
Their involvement was exposed after the exhibition of the just ended voters\u2019 register.<\/p>\n

The three were fined GH\u00a2180.00 each.<\/p>\n
The rest are Emmanuel Sampson Owu from Ahenbrom Kokoben and Fred Kojo Mohammed from Breman Essiam who were also fined GH\u00a2108.00 each<\/p>\n
The accused are all from the Ajumako-Enyan-Essiam District of the Central Region.<\/p>\n
The presiding judge, Alfred Kpodo Rockson, said the Police, the electoral staff and the assembly members should speed up, and bring the remaining offenders to face justice.<\/p>\n
The District Electoral Officer, Prosper Fiifi Caiquo said a lot more of such offenders would be prosecuted.<\/p>\n
