The election was supervised by some of the old NDC regional executives because the Electoral Commission boycotted the event.<\/p>\n
Sources at the regional Electoral Commission confirmed to Citi News<\/strong> they received a court summon restricting them from associating with the regional Secretary and Treasurer Elections.<\/p>\nA source at the NDC regional secretariat said the leadership had not received the court summon.
\nThe election was held at the Tamale Sports Stadium under heavy security guard.<\/p>\n
