{"id":62649,"date":"2014-11-06T12:10:12","date_gmt":"2014-11-06T12:10:12","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/4cd.e16.myftpupload.com\/?p=62649"},"modified":"2014-11-06T12:10:12","modified_gmt":"2014-11-06T12:10:12","slug":"gax-see-first-listing-next-week","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/citifmonline.com\/2014\/11\/gax-see-first-listing-next-week\/","title":{"rendered":"GAX to see first listing next week"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Ghana Alternative Exchange (GAX,) barring any last minute changes, could see its first listing by November 14th, 2014.<br \/>\nCiti Business News gathers financial institution IZWE Loans ltd will float its corporate bonds on the alternative market.<br \/>\nA number of companies since the launch of the GAX last year were tipped to list but for a number of reasons have not been able to.<br \/>\nGAX provides a listing avenue for small-and medium-scale enterprises that may not meet the requirements for listing on the main bourse.<br \/>\nDirector-General of the Securities and Exchange Commission, Adu Anane Antwi tells Citi Business News IZWE Loans will list bonds valued at GHS80 million.<br \/>\nAdu Anane Antwi however adds that his outfit will prefer more equities are listed rather than bonds.<br \/>\n\u201cWe want more listings on the exchange but particularly of equities.
