The Ghana National Association of Graduate Teachers (NAGRAT) says the suspension of their strike with other labour unions does not mean they will stop fighting to get their demands met.<\/p>\n
Twelve labour unions on October 22 emarked on an industrial action<\/strong><\/span><\/a> in\u00a0protest of government\u2019s failure to pay their tier two pension funds into a private account.<\/p>\n An ex parte motion<\/strong><\/span><\/a> secured by the government last Friday forced the unions to call off their strike<\/strong><\/span><\/a> on Tuesday.<\/p>\n [contextly_sidebar id=”eIum0UTGBD0Y1dkIODcmRJ8MA9yjMBCy”]The General Secretary of GNAT, Mawunyo V.V.K. Damanya in an interview on Eyewitness News \u00a0<\/strong>said the unions are only obeying the court injunction.<\/p>\n \u201cWe are going back to work \u00a0but \u00a0it does not mean the negotiation process should not go on. If we find out the process is not getting anywhere, we will follow the striking process,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
