The managers of\u00a0 Braimah Kamoko, alias Bukom Banku, has on behalf of their ward rendered an unqualified apology\u00a0 to the renowned Nigerian evangelist, Prophet Temitope Balogun Joshua aka T.B. Joshua, over an unsavoury comments made\u00a0 against\u00a0\u00a0 the evangelist in the heat of the verbal exchanges between Banku and Ayittey Powers.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

In the said comment, Banku threatened to beat the man of God after defeating Powers in their scheduled April 18\u00a0 slugfest.<\/p>\n
Banku\u2019s reference to T.B. Joshua was because his opponent had earlier disclosed that he was\u00a0 a convert of Joshua\u2019s Synagogue Church of All Nations.<\/p>\n
In a build-up to his upcoming cruiserweight bout in April 18, Powers disclosed\u00a0 that his Nigerian prophet, Joshua had prophesied that he would defeat Banku.<\/p>\n
But Banku did not take kindly to the said prophesy and, in response, said he would knock out Powers in the seventh round and then beat the Nigerian prophet in addition.<\/p>\n
\u201cI would beat Ayittey Powers and beat T.B. Joshua,\u201d he stated.<\/p>\n
Since Kamoko\u2019s unsavoury remarks, followers of the Nigerian prophet have taken issues with the boxer and called on him to retract and apologise.<\/p>\n
Speaking to the\u00a0 Graphic Sports, Kamoko\u2019s manager, Abraham Kotey Neequaye, stated that his boxer had no intentions of disparaging the venerable prophet.<\/p>\n
\u201cT.B. Joshua is like a father to Bukom Banku. He has no intention of beating him, but rather beat Ayittey Powers in the ring, come April 18,\u201d he noted.<\/p>\n
